Anyone playing elder scrolls online?

Got the game a while back near launch and was pretty bad then stopped playing. Heard some new expansion was out so picked it up again and sounds like the additional addons made the game much better in general.

I used to, back when I had internet that could handle online games. I keep hoping that some day in the next decade someone will run the fiber that’s a block away on the highway up our road.

No worries, wish we had fiber here as well. Internet wise have you looked into wireless? My parents live on a farm without any internet lines, but recently noticed they could have someone come out and install a professional canantena to the local receiver.

Yeah, we have a couple fixed wireless companies that have service in our area, one which actually claims unlimited data. But they all require actual line of sight to one of the local mountains but our property is heavily forested and the only way to get a line of sight to Mt. Spokane is to get a 60’ tower.

Most internet stuff is ok. Streaming YouTube or Amazon video sucks and online games are out. My ping just to the satellite is usually around 900 and we have very frequent packet loss. And to top it off, upload speed is slower than dial-up.

I used to. I may try again. Had a couple maxed characters but would probably want to start over. I think one is a vampire in fact. I may reinstall if its better now. It was fun for awhile but got bored.

So far enjoying, only level 21 at the moment. I feel the add-ons with the minon app made the game much better from when I played a few years ago. No idea why they wouldn’t have a mini map back then.

yeah a few addons help a ton, also if you need to make money fast and don’t know how I know a resource route that nets around 20k-50k a hour at early levels and around 100k-500k a hour at end game

I am all ears. I haven’t really gone down the money making side yet, mostly just exploring the new expansion content. Although more bag size would be nice with the gold.

There seems to be a main quest in every zone so I just followed that main quest and then picked up side quests as I followed. So far every quest has voice actors and a pretty good story. Probably not leveling as fast as I could, but enjoying it so far. If you haven’t already, pick up the minon app and install badger ui, skyshards, map pins, and one of the mini maps. There are bunch of mods to look at, but those are probably simple enough to figure out the game with.
