Gaming Rig Logistics

#1

Okay guys I have a logistic issue that hopefully you guys can help me with. I went all out this year due to some good business choices that lead to a new gaming rig and made it look aesthetically pleasing to look at from the side window tower. Only issue is that my desk is in the left corner of a room meaning if I put it on my desk the window would be facing the wall while if I place it on my right it would be blocking my tv mounted to the wall. I hate to see a new rig sit on the floor because I own a cat and all the hair would just vacuum it’s way into the tower.

My question is would I look absolutely ridiculous facing my tower with the back out in the open just so I can see the pretty lights of my tower? Or if you guys have any other ideas I would love to have my options open.

I’ll link my pc parts picker later for some likes along with some photos next week when all the parts have arrived.

Sounds like if you have the window facing you, then the back will be toward the wall correct? That should be fine.

Yeah which you think looks better. Red is monitor and white is tower. Excuse my poor doodle drawing.

You could always put the rig itself on a shelf so you can see it from any angle if you are worried about a certain seating position.

I’d put it straight into the corner, but it’s easy to rotate it 30 degrees if you want to try it both ways

Shelving wouldnt be too bad of idea. Ill check out some durable shelves after i try the two ways first like @skeeve suggested.

When I put my new rig together a month ago the cost of buying everything piece by piece and assembling it myself was less than 15% better than buying and having it built and warrantied. I ended up getting it from www.nzxt.com and have been very happy with it.
